KAPOW– Comic days out.

 

Kapow Comic Con was busy on day one and from accounts of twitter it is equally busy on day 2. I dont have enough points of reference to speak for other Comic and Fan conventions but  Islington Business Design Centre added something I have not experienced in other Cons, Natural Light!  The trade floor was tough to negotiate by the afternoon and many of the queues for seminars had a tendency to trail infront of exhibitors stands. I am sure we might like to see a Convention on the scale and duration of the San Diego Comic Con but I doubt that many places in the UK would be delighted with the concept of churning over their daily business for a week of Geeks, Nerds, Fans and LARPers. For a first run there is much to be improved but lets hope that they do come back again with a larger venue and better queue management.
