Day 28 : Dell Vostro v130 – Calling it in.

Whilst being mobile with the Vostro I have not taken advantage of the built in  5540/5620 EM820U HSPA which accepts a SIMM for the purpose of Data access via 3G.

Traditionally most business laptop users have resorted to 3G Dongles and whilst the tiny SIMM slot at the front of the laptop replaces the need for the ungainly USB component,  I am unsure t the battery life will survive yet more drain on its already shallow resources.

My advice is to pick up the 3Mifi Dongle which provides its own power supply and delivers internet access by way of 3G over a WiFI connection which is frankly less of a burden on the battery.
