PodcampUK 2007 The wrap up blog.

Before anything else I should thank my very Loving Wife who allowed me to attend the event despite it being our Wedding Anniversary Weekend.

I sit ensconced within in my hovel and the Blogs they need feeding, so lets begin. PodcampUK was A two day unconference for social media mavens in which to talk , video, discuss and

So whom did I meet, whom did I remember and what did I learn ?

Obviously I met with Phil and John and Phils friend Craig Marston of Marson Photography who took some great photos over the event. Jason Jarret of abuddhistpodcast.com gave a great presentation on things he wish he knew before he started podcasting and He also became a firm new friend as we chatted on the journey home. Neil Fairbrother of Pod3.tv who explained the concerns of bandwidth and internet television. Anna Farmery of Theengagingbrand.com and I had a short time to speak about Brands and Social Networks and the use in business. Business podcasting was certainly of interest to a few visitors and Neville Hobson gave a great talk about Corporate podcasting. Janet Parkinson of Talking Voices was suprised to meet me having discovered I had written about Social Networks and Social network optimisation. Learning and education through Podcasts and twitter really suprised me and Mark Pentleton of Radio Lingua Network gave a great twittervox interview explaining how language learning is being disseminated. Honourable ( or Dis ) mention goes to Christian of Documentally.com whose spontaneous whit and harmonic intervention enlightened many a moment.

To Jeff Pulver who covered the tab at the Bar your generosity was very well received.

For an event containing British people PodcampUK was an unreserved success in my books. Well done and thank you Phil , John and our sponsors for a brilliant event.
